Places of Interest

Tinago Falls – (Linamon, Lanao del Norte) a spring waterfalls cascadingto a pool of ice cold water estimated at around 25 fathoms deep and 40 meters in diameter.

Pagayawan Falls – (Bacolod, Lanao del Norte) is has a tributary falls cascading beautifully in a bed of volcanic rocks before it empties to the main fall estimated around 85 feet drop/height; can be alternative source of power having potential of 14 megawatts.

Cathedral Falls – (Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte) a sight to behold with its unique rock formations on three foregrounds. The rock resemble cathedral posts where it got its name.

How to Get There

        There are no direct flights to Tubod, Lanao del Nort's capital town, however flights service the Manila route from Cagayan de Oro City, which is three hours away. Tubod Port offers two sea trips a week to Cebu city. Two barge landings in Kolambugan regularly ferries passengers to Ozamis City while it take an hour and half land trip to Iligan via public bus or van.
